Brandon Kramer, Portfolio Manager

Brandon Kramer of Sandwich, Massachusetts is a senior Finance Major and will be retuning this year as the Opportunity Fund’s Portfolio Manager.  Previously Brandon was in charge of the Energy and Utility sectors.  This past summer Brandon interned at Fidelity Investments, Boston,  working for the Asset Management Finance Team, providing Financial Planning and Analysis Support for Fidelity Strategic Advisers LLC.  Outside of SIG, Brandon was also elected this year’s president of the Stonehill FMA chapter after previously serving as Vice President of
Marketing for the prior two years.

Daniel Sammarco, Research Director

Daniel Sammarco, from Plainville, MA, is a senior double major in Finance and Spanish. His strong academic performance earned him admission into the SIG program at the end of his sophomore year. In the summer of 2022, Dan worked as a Summer Operations Associate at Arena Investors where he assisted in the valuation of hybrid financial securities and gained exposure to market-neutral position building and structured finance. Dan also has internship experience in equity research from the summer of 2021 when he interned at Cowen and Company on a team covering companies in the life sciences and diagnostic tools industries. Outside of SIG, Dan is an officer of Stonehill’s Financial Management Association and enjoys skiing, go-karting, studying languages, and improving his computer programming skills.

Ruth Cetina Jimenez, Analyst

Ruth Cetina Jimenez, from Playa del Carmen, Mexico, is a senior Finance major and Criminology minor. Her academic prowess is exemplified by her membership in Lambda Epsilon Sigma Honors Society, and she has earned a position on the Dean’s list four times. Every summer since 2019, Ruth interned at a law firm in Mexico, helping the accounting department. Outside of the classroom, Ruth is co-president of Stonehill’s Women in Finance, Vice President of Operations of the Stonehill FMA Chapter, and a member of Stonehill’s Women in Business.  Ruth is also a student ambassador, a member of the Lux et Spes Society here at Stonehill College.  In her junior year, Ruth completed the ENGAGE leadership program along with the SRA Partners program. She enjoys playing flag football and spending time with friends and family. Other academic interests for Ruth outside of her major include law.

Gavin Euksuzian, Analyst

Gavin Euksuzian, from Medford, NJ, is a senior Finance major and Entrepreneurship minor. His academic performance earned him a position on the Dean’s List for the past four semesters. Gavin's strong interest in Finance led him to complete the ENGAGE Leadership Program and SRA Partners.  In the summer of 2021, Gavin worked as an Acquisitions intern at a Private Equity Search Fund with a mandate to acquire a business with $1-6 million in EBITDA. This past summer, Gavin worked as an M&A Advisory and Valuations intern at Centri Business Consulting in Philadelphia, PA. Outside of SCIFI, Gavin is an active member of Stonehill’s Division I Men’s Soccer Program and enjoys golf, the beach, and fishing.

Joseph LaFauci, Analyst

Joseph LaFauci, from Belmont, MA is a senior Finance major with Economics and Entrepreneurship minors. His academic performance has landed him a on the dean's list in all semesters along with a place in the Beta Game Sigma and Lambda Epsilon Sigma honor societies. Joe interned in Dell Technologies Finance and Business Operations department providing ‘Go to Market’ finance support for the Service Sales team, and he performed AOP implementation, Opex control, quota setting, deal governance, and provided complex deal support. Outside of the Skyhawk Investments Group, Joe is active around campus serving as a Teacher Assistant for the Investments course, he is the Vice President of Finance for the Stonehill FMA Chapter and serves as Treasurer of the Stonehill College WHSL radio station.

Rafael Mejia, Analyst

Rafael Mejia of Randolph, MA is a junior Finance major and Data Analytics minor. Over the past two summers, he interned at John Hancock Investment Management in their product management and securities lending departments. His strong academic performance is exemplified by his membership in the Moreau Honors Program. Previously, Rafael was a member of the SRA Partners program, an opportunity that drove him to pursue SIG. Outside of the classroom and SCIFI, Rafael enjoys watching F1, playing rugby, and traveling.

Emma Montanile, Analyst

Emma Montanile of Danvers, MA is a senior Finance major and Spanish minor. Her academic performance has earned her a position on the Dean’s List for the past 6 semesters and in two honors societies, Lambda Epsilon Sigma and Beta Gamma Sigma. During this past summer, Emma interned with Fuseideas as a Finance Intern where she managed and processed invoices for the advertising company. Outside of the classroom, Emma is an active member of Stonehill’s Division I Varsity Soccer Team and is Vice President of the Women in Finance club. In her free time, Emma enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time at the beach."

Jacques Ouellette, Analyst

Jacques Ouellette, from Lewiston, ME, is a junior finance major with an entrepreneurship minor. His strong academic performance has led him to be a part of the Moreau Honors Program and admission into the Skyhawk Investment Group at the end of his sophomore year. Over the past summer, Jacques was accepted into the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School program, completing a platoon leaders course for juniors. During his spare time, Jacques has enjoyed playing for the Stonehill College Club Hockey Team and golfing with friends.

Steven Shalvey, Analyst

Steven Shalvey, from Quincy, MA, is a senior Finance and Economics double major with a Data Analytics minor. His academic performance has landed him on the dean’s list for six straight semesters along with three honors societies: Beta Gamma Sigma, Omicron Delta Epsilon, and Lambda Epsilon Sigma. Steven has been a TA in Microeconomics for four semesters. Last year, he was a research assistant for the SRA Partners program. This past summer, he interned with Dell Technologies as a Financial Planning and Analysis Intern. Outside the classroom, Steven is the Treasurer of the Economics Club and a member of the Financial Management Association.

Devin Walsh, Analyst

Devon Walsh, from Fairhaven, MA, is a senior Finance Major with a Data Analytics and Economics minor. His academic performance has landed him on the dean’s list for six consecutive semesters along with access into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. This past summer, Devon interned at the Diocese of Fall River in the Chancery’s finance department. In his role, he performed financial analysis, analyzing the stability of several private schools in the Diocese. Not only did he learn different accounting practices by reconciling investment portfolios and bank accounts in this role, but these tasks also gave him insights into the investment methodology used by the Diocese and its Investment Board of Advisors. Outside of SCIFI, Devon also acted as a Diversity Coordinator for the Student Resident Hall Association during his junior year.
