Nick Collins Landano, Portfolio Manager
Nick Landano, from Conway, NH, is a senior Finance major and Economics minor. His academic performance has earned him a position on the Dean's List for the past five semesters, as well as the Presidential Scholar Award for each of his years at Stonehill. Nick owns and operates a company of his own, Landano & Company, a real estate investment company that currently has 10 residential units in its portfolio. In the past, Nick has worked in consulting for Deloitte Consulting, healthcare equity analysis for Tarvos Capital, real estate analysis for L&G Realty Trust and logistics coordination for CMF Transportation. Outside of work, Nick enjoys being involved on campus; he was an orientation leader for two years, holds a seat on the Student Government Association’s finance board, participates in Stonehill’s branch of the Financial Management Association and has actively participated in the SCIFI program since freshman year. He will be returning to the SCIFI Group as the portfolio manager for the 2019-20 academic year.
Phillip Noonan, Director of Research
Phillip Noonan of Raynham, MA is graduating as a Finance major at Stonehill in 2020. His strong academic performance, including recognition to the Dean's List during multiple semesters contributed to him joining SCIFI as a Junior, and he will be a second year Senior Analyst in 2019-2020. Last summer he interned in the Commercial Lines Department of FBInsure in Taunton, MA where he participated in a variety of projects around customer communication strategies and procedures. In Summer 2019, Phillip will be a Finance Intern at Johnson & Johnson in their Medical Device sector, where he can apply his industry knowledge he gained as a Healthcare Equity Analyst. Outside of the classroom, Phillip works in Real Estate, spends time in leadership roles with the Stonehill FMA, and has participated as a member of the Student Alumni Association as well as extensive volunteering initiatives.

Jennifer Devine, Analyst
Jennifer Devine, from Portland, ME is a senior Finance major and Economics minor. Her interests first led her to intern at Ambit Energy in Dallas, TX in their finance department during the Summer of 2017. There, she generated daily and weekly excel reports, balanced customer accounts, and created journal entries. Jennifer also took over the management and operations of multiple Airbnb units, sparking an interest in real estate. This past summer she honed in on her equity analysis skills while performing research under Tarvos Capital Management for Bank Bellevue Healthcare Funds of Bellevue Group of Zurich, Switzerland focusing on medical technology and biotechnology industries. Outside of academics and work she enjoys volunteering at the Stonehill farm.
Edward J. Magi, Jr., Analyst
Edward J. Magi Jr., from Fairfield, CT, is a senior double major in Finance and Economics. His strong interest in finance has led him to complete an internship in financial planning with Northwestern Mutual in the summer of 2018 and in the US Finance department at Scotiabank in New York, New York this past summer. He is very involved on campus, as he is a member of the varsity baseball team, a senior tutor for economics and quantitative analysis for the CWAA, participates in Stonehill’s Financial Management Association branch, and has worked as the business editor and treasurer of the Stonehill Summit Newspaper where he has also been a contributing writer for the opinion section.
Kyle Boucher, Analyst
Kyle Boucher, from Brockton, MA, is a senior finance major and history minor. His academic performance has earned him standing on the dean’s list for the past 6 semesters. This past summer Kyle interned with Centerpoint Advisors, a wealth management firm, where he gained hands-on experience as he participated in numerous projects and operations in both portfolio and wealth management and investment research. Outside of Stonehill, Kyle has also interned as a licensed agent in Real Estate, commodities trading for a recycling firm, and has a background in banking that stretches back to high school. Additionally, in his spare time, Kyle purchases for sale rare, vintage, and high-end stringed instruments.
Sarah Bessette, Analyst
Sarah Bessette, from Woonsocket, RI, is a junior, Finance major and Data Analytics minor. This past summer, Sarah interned at Liberty Mutual Insurance in the Financial Development Program as a Financial Analyst. There she worked on various technology finance strategic projects and supported month-end closing. Her outstanding academic performance awarded her membership in the Stonehill Moreau Honors Program. She also received the Moriarty Scholar Award in 2018 which is given to the student with the highest GPA for each class year in the business department. Outside of SCIFI, Sarah is involved on campus as a Resident Assistant, Teaching Assistant for several courses, and is the Business Administrative Assistant work-study student for the Leo J. Meehan School of Business. In addition, she is the Director of Finance for the Stonehill FMA, involved in Launch: Women in Finance Initiative at Stonehill College, and has participated in the H.O.P.E. Service Immersion trip to Haverhill, MA.
Brandyn McColligan, Analyst
Brandyn McColligan, from Auburn, NH, is a senior Finance and Economics double major. His strong academic performance has earned him recognition on the Dean’s list and by the Alumni Council as a scholarship recipient for scholarly and community achievement. This summer, Brandyn is interning at Commonwealth Financial Group where he builds comprehensive financial plans for clients and assists in client facing initiatives. Outside of the office and classroom, Brandyn is involved in campus activities such as the Student Alumni Association, where he served as President, DECA, Phonathon and the New York City Externship program.
Thomas Galgano, Analyst
Thomas Galgano is a senior Finance major from Brewster, New York. Tom interrupted his participation in the program last year by taking the opportunity to study abroad in Galway at the Northern University of Ireland focusing on economics and European history. This past summer he interned as an investment consultant at Andersen Tax in New York City focused on client relations, investment policy statement development and derivative products and strategies. Last fall, Tom was an analyst for the fund following utilities and energy.
