At its core, the Stonehill College Inspire Finance Initiatives are multiple programs that aim to advance the academic and professional development of all students at Stonehill that are interested in learning and building professional skills to garner in-demand internship opportunities and post graduate positions.  As we celebrate its 10th anniversary, based on student outcomes, there is plenty of evidence to conclude that it does.

Its three main programs, Engage, SRA Partners, and the Skyhawk Investment Group, in cooperation with programs from our leading Student Business Clubs, offer participants a complementary educational experience that bolsters their resumes and personal confidence.

ENGAGE Financial Leaders Program

  • Best taken in Sophomore year.

  • Runs from November until March.

  • Builds resumes with essential learning opportunities.

  • Participants earn badges and certificates in analytics.

SRA Partners

  • Best taken in Junior year.

  • BUS320 Investments course, completed or in process, required.

  • Led by members of SIG with personal mentoring.

  • Develop essential research and presentation skills.

SKYHAWK INVESTMENT GROUP

  • Best taken in Senior year.

  • BUS 320 Investments completion required.

  • Application-based program with demonstrated academic ability and strong work ethic demonstrated.

  • Runs from July to June with summer assignments

  • Students take 2 courses: Advanced Research & Portfolio Management and Behavioral Finance,

  • Participate in running the Herlihy Opportunity Fund.
