Robert Belmont '03, Co-Chair - Boston
Robert M. Belmont, III is the Chief Investment Officer of Coast Line Trust in Providence, Rhode Island. Previously he was Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Bank of America Private Bank. Rob has been in the financial services industry for over 18 years. Prior to Bank of America, Rob spent several years as a Financial Analyst in the Brokerage Division of Fidelity Investments. In addition to his degree from Stonehill College, Rob has two graduate degrees from Boston College - an MBA with a concentration in Asset Management and a Masters of Science in Finance.
Chris Lafayette '05 CFA, Co-Chair - New York
Chris Lafayette is a member of the Strategy and Capital Markets Team at Beta Technologies, an EV Aircraft Startup in Vermont. Previously, he was an Equity Portfolio Manager at The Clark Estates Inc., a family office in Rockefeller Plaza, New York where he managed a fund that employs a blend of fundamental and quantitative strategies. Prior to joining The Clark Estates in 2007, he was a Data Analyst at the Meketa Investment Group, Westwood, MA. In addition to his degree in Finance from Stonehill College, he is a Chartered Investment Analyst from the CFA Institute.
Ryan Blicker '14 CFA
Ryan Blicker is a Senior Research Associate at Casdin Capital, LLC in Boston. Prior to joining Casdin Capital, Ryan was Vice President, Healthcare Equity Research at Cowen and Company covering companies in the Life Science Tools and Diabetes Device industries for nearly 7 years after graduating from Stonehill College with a degree in Economics in 2014. Ryan was also a member and the first Portfolio Manager of the Skyhawk Investment Group's Mary Herlihy Opportunity Fund.
Thomas Buckley '18 CFA
Tom Buckley is an Investment Analyst at The Clark Estates, Inc. in New York City. Following graduation, Tom was a sell-side analyst for over three years at Truist (formerly Robiinson-Humphrey) specializing in the Homebuilding and Construction and Materials Industries. Tom's experience as the Portfolio Manager of the Herlihy Opportunity Fund should serve the group well.
Mark Botelho '00
Mark Botelho is Vice President of Institutional Client Services at Fidelity Institutional Asset Management in Boston and has been with Fidelity since 2011. Prior to Fidelity, he spent 11 years with State Street Bank most recently in the role as Assistant Vice President, Finance Specialist, Global Treasury. Mark graduated from Stonehill in 2000 with a degree in Finance and in 2008 earned a Master's in Finance from Suffolk University.
Daniel J. Doherty '15
Dan Doherty is a member of the Digital Assets Operations team at Citadel in New York City. After graduating from Stonehill in 2015 with degrees in Finance and Economics. After graduation, Dan joined Goldman Sachs and a few years later left for Arena Investors LP where prior to leaving for Citadel, earned the title of Vice President.
Daniel Farley '92 CFA
Dan Farley is the Chief Investment Officer - Investment Solutions at State Street Global Advisors in Boston leading a team of over 80 investment professionals managing and developing over $200 billion in multi-asset class portfolio solutions for institutional clients. Dan has spent his entire career in a number of roles since joining SSGA in 1993. A graduate of Stonehill in 1992 with a degree in Finance, he also earned an MBA from Bentley University in 1995. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute since 1998 and serves as Chairman of the Board of Crispus Atticks Children's Center among other advisory roles at Stonehill and Bentley.
Matthew Kaminski '05 CFA
As Partner and Head of Manager Research, Matt oversees the Fiducient Advisors’ research teams and directs due diligence efforts across public markets, marketable alternatives, and private markets. He is also chair of the firm’s Research Forum and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Trustee-Directed Discretionary Committee. Matt received a BSBA from Stonehill College in 2005, is a CFA and a member of the CFA Institute and the Hartford CFA Society.
Stephen Murphy '10 CFA
Stephen is a Senior Managing Consultant on PFM’s Healthcare and Higher Education team. His time is spent advising non-profit clients on capital planning, risk management, and transaction execution. He specializes in credit analysis, capital structuring, and accessing the capital markets. Prior to joining PFM, Stephen worked at KPMG on the asset management audit team performing financial statement audits on mutual, hedge, and private equity funds. Stephen holds an MS degree in accounting and business administration from Northeastern University. He graduated from Stonehill College in 2010 earning a BS in Chemistry and a BA in Mathematics. He is a CFA since 2016.
James Scanlan '15 CFA
Jim is a former Portfolio Manager of the Mary Herlihy Opportunity Fund and is currently Director of Finance and M&A at Apella Capital LLC in Hartford, CT. After graduation, Jim spent several years as an investment banking analyst with BMO Capital Markets. Prior to Apella, Jim was the Director of Research at RMC Investment Advisors.
